Warranty & Disclaimer

KUSAM-MECO warrants that each product supplied will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. Please read this warranty and disclaimer carefully before using any KUSAM-MECO instrument.

Warranty Terms

Full terms covering coverage period, remedy, exclusions and liability.

Warranty Period

Each product supplied will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service within a period of one year (12 months) from the date of original purchase.

For UL-listed products, the warranty period is extended to two years (24 months).

Remedy

KUSAM-MECO will repair or replace the defective product free of charge at its discretion. To claim warranty, the customer must:

  • Contact an authorised dealer
  • Provide valid proof of purchase
  • Describe the nature of the defect
THIS WARRANTY IS BUYER'S SOLE & EXCLUSIVE REMEDY
Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Accessories, ICs, fuses, fusible resistors
  • Spark gaps and batteries
  • Items deemed contaminated
  • Products misused, altered, neglected or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions

KUSAM-MECO reserves the right to bill for repair where failure is caused by misuse.

Limitation of Liability

KUSAM-MECO disclaims ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, and shall not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product.

Authorised dealers may only extend the warranty to end-user customers — they have no authority to bind KUSAM-MECO to any greater or different warranty.

Full Legal Notice

"KUSAM-MECO" warrants products are "free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service" within a period of one year (12 months), with UL-listed products receiving 24 months of coverage. The warranty does not cover "accessories, IC's, fuses, fusible resistors, spark gaps, batteries" or items deemed to have been "misused, altered, neglected, contaminated or damaged by accident."

KUSAM-MECO disclaims "ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED" and states it "SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES."

Post-Warranty & Jurisdiction

Post-Warranty Services

Calibration services are available after the warranty period. Customers must forward the meters to KUSAM-MECO, Mumbai at their cost & risk along with the calibration charges.

If the instrument additionally requires repair, those costs will be added separately. Shipping and handling charges are borne by the customer.

  • Calibration fees billed separately
  • Repair charges added if required
  • Customer bears shipping cost & risk
